Measure the full length of the rod from end to end (exclude finials).
What’s your window width?
(Frame outer edge to edge)

How many inches beyond your window frame would the rod extend?
Recommended 6–15″ on each side for better light control and aesthetics.
How many inches above the window frame would you mount the rod?
Recommended 6–10″ above the window frame to add visual height.

For Soft Top style, measure from top of rod to floor.
