1. Return & Refund Policy

We take great pride in our craftsmanship and meticulous attention to every detail. Our skilled artisans handcraft each curtain piece exclusively for you, and we strive to deliver outstanding customer service throughout your entire shopping journey.

Should any issues arise with your order, we kindly ask you to review our return policy and reach out to us first to explore possible resolutions, instead of opening a dispute right away. We are ready to assist you.

We recommend that you carefully review all specifications before ordering, including pleat styles, measurement guides and lining options, to make sure your custom curtains match your expectations. We highly suggest ordering fabric swatches or swatch books prior to placing your custom order, so you can verify fabric texture and color in person.

Custom curtains, Roman shades and blinds are handmade to your unique requirements. Since our craftsmen spend hours producing these bespoke items, returns will not be accepted unless there is a manufacturing quality defect.

Some products may be marked as final sale and non-returnable, or subject to extra return restrictions. Please check the product description page before checkout.

2. Are returns available?

Fabric swatches and swatch books are final sale and cannot be returned.

Custom curtains and window shades are handmade per your exact order specifications. Once produced to match your original order details, they are non-returnable.

Curtain hardware and ready-made items qualify for returns, subject to our full return terms and conditions.

3. Non-Returnable Items

Returns will NOT be accepted under the circumstances listed below:

• Custom curtains, Roman shades and blackout drapes.
• Misunderstanding of product images.
• The item fits well but feels heavier than expected.
• The final color fails to match your preference.
• You are unsatisfied with quality (we recommend ordering fabric swatches for pre-verification).
• Change of mind or no longer need the item.
• Incorrect product ordered by yourself.
• Measurement mistakes. A tolerance of +/-1 inch is standard within the industry. Curtain width may be 1–3 inches wider than your ordered size to guarantee full coverage once hung.
• Delivery takes longer than you anticipated.
• Color variation caused by different fabric dye lots. Minor color difference between swatch and finished goods is normal.
• Color difference resulting from lining selection.
• Blackout performance does not meet your expectation.
• Special and bespoke custom products are non-returnable.

4. Returnable Items

Returns or remanufacturing will be accepted only under a small set of valid scenarios as listed below:

• We shipped the wrong merchandise.
• Incorrect lining type was used.
• The delivered item fails to match our product description.

For hardware and ready-made goods: you may request a return within 30 days after delivery if the items arrive damaged, defective, or with incorrect color or size, subject to the following requirements:

• The product remains unused, retains its original tags, and has not been altered in any way.

Please email us your order number, a detailed explanation of the issue, and clear supporting photos. We will do our utmost to repair or remake the item to match your original order specifications. You may be requested to send back the original product.

If the return is caused by customer-side reasons, the customer shall bear all shipping charges. The exact cost will depend on the courier service you select.

If goods arrive damaged or incorrect due to our error, you will not be responsible for any shipping fees.

5. What if I simply do not like what I ordered?

We are sorry to hear this! We fully understand that sometimes you may change your mind, or find the color or style is not quite what you expected. Unfortunately, free exchanges or returns are not available under these circumstances. Thank you for your understanding.

6. Return Window

For eligible items, return requests must be submitted within 30 days after delivery. Return applications submitted beyond this period may be declined. Please inspect your order promptly once you receive it.

7. Return Shipping Fees

If your return request is approved, you will be responsible for the return shipping cost unless otherwise specified. Refund will be issued after we receive and inspect the returned goods.

Refund Amount = Total order value − (processing fee + packaging fee + original shipping cost)

Typically, this equals around 80% of your total order value.

8. Refund

Once we receive and inspect your returned item (unused, in original condition with tags and packaging), we will either issue a full refund or repair / remake the product.

We will email you with next steps.

If your return meets requirements with defect photos and shipping label provided, full refund will be processed to your original payment method within 3–10 business days.

Please note:

• Past orders are not eligible for price adjustments or retroactive discounts.
• We do not offer refunds for lost packages, but we will send replacement goods.
• No refunds or exchanges will be issued for packages marked delivered.

9. Exchanges

Exchanges are only available for damaged or defective goods. Replacements must match your original order, including size, pleat style, color and lining.

Please contact us at songdahua@outlook.com within 3 days after delivery, and attach photos of the item and all packaging. Keep all inner and outer packaging materials.

10. Order Modifications

No modifications can be made after delivery. Please double-check measurements and specifications before checkout.

11. Light Block Expectations

We supply multiple lining options to satisfy different light-control needs: privacy, room darkening, blackout and thermal insulation.

Light blocking perception varies from person to person and different environments. We recommend ordering a lining swatch book to verify the effect. Differences in perceived light-blocking performance are not treated as product defects.

12. Measurement Issues

Use a metal measuring tape to avoid errors; soft tape can stretch.

In rare cases if your curtain size is incorrect, we may adjust or remake the item at our discretion. We cover round-trip shipping fees for eligible remakes.

13. Change of Mind

Please choose carefully. Once the order ships, returns based purely on change of mind will not be accepted.

14. Color Variation

Actual color may slightly differ from online display due to lighting, screen differences and fabric dye lots. This is not considered a manufacturing defect and returns for this reason will be declined.

15. Custom Curtain Seam Notice

Custom curtains are produced per order. Horizontal or vertical seams may exist according to fabric width, curtain dimension and design requirements.

Seams are normal during custom production and are not quality defects. Curtains with production-required seams cannot be returned or exchanged.

16. Lost Packages

If your parcel gets lost in transit, we will work with the carrier to locate it. If recovery fails, we will send a replacement free of charge. Refunds are not available in this scenario.

17. Return Shipping Address

Return Instructions: Our customer service team will separately send you the official return address and return guidelines once your return request is approved.

Do NOT send items to any address not confirmed by our team.

Return & exchange window: 30 days.

18. Processing Refunds

After you ship out the return, please email us your tracking number to songdahua@outlook.com.

We will inspect the goods and process your refund within 3–5 business days. Funds may take an additional 3–7 business days to show on your bank statement, depending on your bank’s processing speed.

19. What If My Curtain Has Defects?

Our custom Roman shades are handcrafted to high standards and built for years of regular use. If your shade has a manufacturing defect (rare case), please contact us.

If we confirm the issue comes from production defects, we will replace it free of charge and request you send back the original item.

20. Disputes & Refunds

Filing disputes consumes time for both sides and often locks your funds for up to 90 days.

Please reach out to us first. We are ready to help and resolve issues faster than formal disputes. Our goal is a hassle-free shopping experience.

21. Cancellation Policy

For non-custom items:

You may cancel your order and get full refund within 12 working hours after payment, provided the order has not shipped.

Once shipped, we will share carrier info and tracking number. No cancellation is allowed after shipment.

For custom products:

All custom curtains are made-to-order. If you request cancellation or modification (size, color, fabric etc.) more than 12 working hours after placing order, a 25% fee based on product price will be charged.

Orders that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled.

22. Return Shipping Responsibility

If the return is caused by customer’s reasons, the customer bears all return shipping fees, cost depends on the courier you select.

If goods arrive damaged or incorrect due to our mistake, you do not need to cover the shipping cost.
